instruction of a fan girl
I went with the perspective of the fangirl. to be accurate in this perspective I interviewed my friend Anne-lin Axt see is a fan from the boyband since the age of twelve. the interview ended up more of a dialog between friends. Nevertheless, I learned a lot and came to my final Idea of the instagram post and tiktok because of it.
after our talk I realized that there is a whole new generation of directioners that can learn from the behavior of the first wave of directioners. that is why I choose to make the how not to behave as a directioner view point for my instruction

disclaimer: I did the video in Dutch because we are bought Dutch and this we could go more in dept
I choose for an instagram post and a TikTok because almost all of the users that I am trying to reach are watching both platforms.

initially I didn't want to make an instagram post but I wanted to make stickers that could be placed everywhere in the world. However, due to the crisis that is taking place right now I thought that wouldn't reach the same amount of people as an instagram post.

what I noticed during and after the dialog. Is the passion Anne-in has for this band and in what lengths see details. it keeps surprising me even after 6 years of friendship.

next to this I also found it very interesting how we sort of came to the conclusion that being a 'real' fan isn't something you choose but you already are or not. As Anne-lin states that she has been a person who wants to know everything about something when she loves it. management teams know this and play very well in to this fact as Anne-lin says 'one direction is a brand not a band'.
