interfaces exercise #1
- Who is the ‘user’ (can be more than one) of the ‘interface’?
the user in this case would be the lamp, and the lamp is used by the people in it’s surrounding for light.
- Which ‘system’ or ‘systems’ are connected by the ‘interface’?

the system of the lamp Is connected to the plug of the lamp and the plug is then connected to the electricity lines of Rotterdam.
- How does the ‘interface’ affect the user? (what does the user do, feel, learn, experience, change, think etc)
the interface affects the user in the way that it makes the lamp work, so it makes sure that there is light. To add on the user of the lamp experiences light.
- How can the ‘user’ interact with the ‘interface’?

the user can interact with the interface by putting the plugs lamp in the pop-socket so that the loght works.
- What are the material properties of the ‘interface’?

the material properties are white of color and are a little bit faded it also has metal at the end of the plug.

- Who is the ‘user’ (can be more than one) of the ‘interface’?
the user of the interface is the clock pointers are the clock itself, and the people in the surrounding that watch the clock for the time.
- Which ‘system’ or ‘systems’ are connected by the ‘interface’?
the systems that are connected to the clock pointers are the mechanic of the clock. Most important is the time. We as users can read how late or early it is in the day and that gives us structure in life.
- How does the ‘interface’ affect the user? (what does the user do, feel, learn, experience, change, think etc)
the interface between the clock pointers is pretty basic, they work together to make sense of the time and make it more readable. But the most important function again is that we experience time and that time gives us structure throughout the day.
- How can the ‘user’ interact with the ‘interface’?
the interaction between the user is that the clock pointers /clock gives us numbers and we read does number and can tell the time of that.
- What are the material properties of the ‘interface’?
the clock is around 30 cm and is clock , white and gold of color, and it has stripes instead of numbers.
